GENERAL PRESENTATION The University of Poitiers with its prestigious 500 year history is multidisciplinary and its potential and ability to adapt are built on this rich diversity. It offers over 200 national diplomas. The whole range of curricula undertaken at the University of Poitiers is based on excellence of research. This link between education and research offers the students high standards of teaching at the forefront of scientific knowledge. The University of Poitiers actively participates in the transfer, diffusion and improvement of its research findings and generates partnerships within the economic world. Moreover, the University of Poitiers has signed academic and research agreements with over 270 universities in 52 countries. The University of Poitiers coordinates two Erasmus-Mundus Masters (3 in 2010), and takes part in many other European and International exchange partnerships all over the world.
