GENERAL PRESENTATION The University Miguel Hernández de Elche is a public University, situated in the south-east of Spain in a very sunny place, but beyond this the real mission of UMH is to serve the society by providing teaching, research and quality services. Develop students into professional facilitating their integration into employment.

The UMH has elaborated a strategic plan in order to assure the fulfilment of highly demanding of quality standard (EFQM) related to teaching, research and innovation. This mission is carried out in the four campuses that UMH has and offer a total of 33 degrees from a pluralistic and tolerant position suited to the needs an idiosyncrasy of the environment.

The UMH is also linked to the professional world through cooperation agreements with companies that enable the students to combine theoretical knowledge with training. It is as well open to the world through international agreements that allow students to complete their studies in other European and American Universities.

In conclusion the UMH is considered an entrepreneurship University.
