The University of Limoges is a European university. Its teaching and research have placed it at the centre of a wide network of international relationships which permit exchange, cooperation and innovation with many universities worldwide. Our university offers all major fields of study as well as recognized teaching specialities, which rely upon its principal research activities: Optics and Microwaves, Cryptography / Information Security, Surface Treatments, Ceramic Materials, Chemistry and Environment, Environmental Law, Genomics, Immunology, Pharmacology, Semiology,.. The University of Limoges is as well a crucial player in the development, the vitality and the economic and cultural influence of both Limoges and the region around.
